Surgeries
First of all, apologies to those people in Church Road and Bryn Catwg who I couldn’t get round to with my thank-you leaflet, which also advertised my first “surgery” at the end of May.
I will continue to have these sessions on the last Saturday in each month in the small room in Cadoxton Community Centre, the next one being on Saturday 28th June.
Thanks to those of you who came along with your problems on 24th May. If I had any doubt that traffic and parking were the major problems facing Cadoxton, it would have been finally dispelled then! I have discussed many of the difficulties with the responsible officers and am hopeful of some of them being resolved. Others, which will require capital expenditure, will depend on the bidding process for the 2009/10 programme, which will open this autumn. More news when these matters are firmer.
The first of the two items which Cllr Funning successfully had included in the 2008/9 programme, the resurfacing of Main Road, is under way. The other, the possible provision of double-yellow lines at a junction with Main Road, will be undertaken later this year.
