The Planning and Development Committee yesterday decided not to object to Nuon’s proposal for a wind farm straddling the border between Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf. The vote was close – 15 against the turbines, and 17 not – and I think it is fair to say that it would have gone the other way if we had not had legal advice as to the grounds on which we could object.
